Introducing the love of my life!
We rescued him from a shelter 8 years ago (that is a story worthy of telling another day) and everyone who comes into contact with him loves him.
He loves to run, jump and play just being a happy go lucky doggy!
Then one day he started limping, it got better with medication. But, he eventually stopped using his right rear leg altogether.
This is why he was limping, xrays show the damage of bone cancer. The white speck floating off to the side is what’s left of his knee!
Romeo recovering at home after amputation.
12 days post-op stitches look good! (lumps are the muscle recovering not more cancer like I thought)
Romeo 2 weeks after surgery doing what he loves, smelling trees!
Romeo smiled for the first time 3/4/2020, 19 days after his surgery!

Awww you make us smile Romeo! I’m sorry you had to go through amputation. It’s sooo unusual for little dogs to get osteosarcoma. Sorry you had to be in that club but you sure look happy to get rid of the bad leg. Keep on hoppin’ and may you have many, many more adventures! We can’t wait to follow along.
